Royal Hospital School Boys-U14A vs  Uppingham School
On: Saturday, 09 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

Under 14A RHS v Uppingham.
The RHS Under 14As kicked off their season away to Uppingham School, a new challenging fixture on the RHS Rugby calendar.
The game began with RHS receiving. The intensity from both teams was high from the start, RHS clearly wanted to continue their unbeaten run. Some destructive forward carries and slick hands in the back line set up a well worked Try for Brinley Robertson in the first five minutes, with Joel Sheldon converting to make it 7-0. The U14s continued to apply pressure in the first half with both Archie Kean and Aston Gradwick-Light scoring.
In the second half the U14s increased the intensity once more in defence and attack with dominant tackles coming from Angus Williams, Eli Govindasamy, Ollie Dawson and Max Puckey. The second half also showcased a well worked Try started by two 'Sonny Bill Williams' style offloads from Charley Garwood and Aston Gradwick-Light to help Archie Fryer go over for 5 points. The game finished 38-5 to RHS.
A great first game to kick off the 2017/18 season, with a brilliant team performance from every player. A special thanks goes to all the parents who traveled the distance to support the school and students.
