Match Report
Royal Hospital School Girls U14B vs  Felsted School
On: Saturday, 30 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

The second match of the triangular fixtures saw the girls take on felsted school. Unfortuanetky the RHS girls started sluggish after such a tough match before. The RHS girls struggled to break the Felsted attack and as a result a lot of the play of the first half was centered in the RHS defensive third. Sophie Finch in goal kept RHS in the game with several goal line clearances and the defensive partnership of Grace Carnell and Bryana Findlay held strong. In a break away run just before half time Ellie Davies took the ball up the pitch and a nice knock into Matilda Gladwell saw her score her second goal of the day. Jacinta Nutall and Yvonne De Villers were outstanding running the RHS wings.

A positive team talk led by Jacinta Nuttall and Grace Carnell kept the girls positive but more focussed and organised for a much closer fought second half with both teams having good spells of play.

A change in midfield saw Leila Gbelia replace an injured Yvonne De Villers but Leila, Jacinta Nuttall, Laura Tickle and Lucinda Halim dug in and strong passing saw the RHS girls improve their attacking play and they were unlucky not to add to the score.
