Match Report
Royal Hospital School Girls U13A/JNR 1st VII vs  St Joseph's College, Ipswich
On: Wednesday, 11 Oct 2017
Venue: at Home

The U13A team had a convincing win against St Joseph's yesterday. RHS started the match with a drive towards the attacking circle and had several good attempts to score. St Joseph's looked dangerous on their counter attack but Lily Ironmonger was strong in goals and prevented several attempts from them. Zion played very well in defence and brought the ball up the pitch a few times. Just before the half time whistle, Millie Palmer scored a super goal, catching the ball on the rebound from the goalie's pads and planting it firmly in the back of the net. The second half of the match saw a strong and confident RHS team, playing an attacking game. They were rewarded by an excellent goal for Izzy Palmer. Our third goal resulted from a skillful pass into the circle from Millie Palmer and Lydia Mayers connected with the pass and scored a great goal. The short corner session before the game was very useful and strategies were put into practice in match play.
