Royal Hospital School Girls 1st XI vs  County Tournament
On: Thursday, 14 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

The 1st XI traveled to Framlingham on Thursday for the first half of the county tournament. They played St Joseph's first up and, despite dominating both territory and possession, conceded a sloppy goal from a short corner following a break away attack. The frantic nature of the game meant RHS never quite settled after this and the game finished 0-1. The girls then took on Ipswich School and an end to end affair came down the the final play of the game. With the score at 0-0 Ipswich won a short corner which, following a cynical foul in the D, was turned into a penalty stroke. However, Lydia Torrington stood tall and saw the ball fly wide so the game finished 0-0.
